Shani Dev Mantras
Shani Dev is one of the most important planets ruling over the horoscopes of people. Shani, which is the planet Saturn, is one of the nine planets that are taken into account while casting a person's horoscope. As per Indian astrology, Shani is represented by the colour black. In the Hindu tradition, Shani Dev is given a highly respectable place. Among the planets we come across in the horoscopes, Shani takes the longest time to go around the sun and therefore stays in every zodiac sign for a longer time. Saade sati is the 7½ year period when an individual comes under the influence of Shani Dev according to his/her zodiac sign. Reciting Shani Dev Mantras can help reduce the sufferings people usually undergo during the Saade Sati period.
Shani Dev mantra (any of one given below) has to be chanted for 23,000 times during the Saade Sati period within a stretch of 23 days meaning chanting 1000 mantras a day. Chanted with sincerity and devotion, the mantra can alleviate all the sufferings and confer the benevolent grace of Shani Dev. Also Shani Dev does not trouble the devotees of Hanuman. Therefore, worshipping Hanuman will also help to a great extent in averting the troubles of the Saade Sati period. One should donate a buffalo or black til (sesame seeds) on Saturdays. One can use Blue sapphire , Lapiz or Blue hakik mala to chant the mantras. Once can keep a Shani yantra along while chanting mantras.
Below given mantras can be chanted to pacify planet Saturn.
